Okay I have an emachines M6805 laptop. It has 512 DDR 333mhz pc 2700 memory.
I recently went to yongsan to get a gig of ram installed. The guy at one of the shops did this for me, which brought me up to 1256 gigs of ram.
However my computer started crashing and giving me problems. I didn't think that it was the new ram (dumb of me yes) and so i took my laptop to korea solutions in itaewon where they told me that it was the 1 gig of ram because when they tested my laptop with their memory everything worked fine.
So should I take the gig of ram back where I bought it from? I didn't get a receipt and it didn't come in a package. Am I just out of luck?
Or could the problem be the Ram type? Maybe I needed two one gig sticks of Ram instead of the 1 gig with the 256 ?
Any insight or thoughts would be appreciated. |

try using only the 1 gig stick and see if it still crashes. if so, take it back. |
