|
|
Hi, my Dell laptop crashed last week and i've been getting the runaround about fix-it options. just wondering if anybody experienced problems and/or found solutions to them in korea, specifically daegu. i've heard i may need to replace my hard drive, but the catch is i really need to recover the documents, so i'm worried about what method to follow. any advice would be greatly appreciated and heeded.
best regards,

| If you post details of the problem, someone might be able to help you in the tech forum here. |

my dell turns on, goes to the DELL screen, then goes to the windows XP page and starts to load, then there's a click and the whole process starts over again and again...i was gone for a day and had my computer on, and the internet was connected (i think) and when i returned the screen was white. i turned it off and tried to restart but nothing.
since then i have been able to go to F2 and start in safe mode (for the first two times) but since then i can't even do that. i talked to a tech guy at dell in seoul and he said it sounds like a software problem.
the error message just says 'your computer was unable to start due to an unexpected problem. this could be due to either a hardware or software problem...' then it gives me options to start up. none of them work.
any help would be appreciated.

| Just find a computer shop man. Easy. Koreans can assemble a hdd in their sleep while smoking. |
