Help me fellow nerds! Does anyone know anything about, the Blizzard event on this weekend in Seoul!? All I can find in English is press release on the Blizzard website saying its on at the Olympic Gymnastics and Fencing Stadiums in Seoul.

But when are opening times!? What's the schedule!? Are there tickets, and and at what cost!?

Argh! I really hope DiabloIII will be revealed!!!

Free admission, and you register there.

I don't know anything about schedules though.

I'm glad you asked. I'm very interested in this and I had absolutely no idea it was happening.

Probably officially announcing Starcraft 2. I wonder how Korean gamers will react when Blizzard shuts down the Starcraft servers so they are forced to play Starcraft 2.

I'm still waiting for the Diablo III announcement, but that's probably a pipe dream for another 3-5 years yet, if at all.

Here's the official web site for the Blizzard event

http://wwi.blizzard.co.kr/

I'd go if I was remotely near it. Anyone who does go, I hope you have a good time.

Oh, and it seems Hyori is performing at the event

Starcraft 2 imo Very Happy Fun fun fun at the pc bang!

The mmo rumors are bogus. I hope Sad I can't afford to lose a huge chunk of my life...Besides, why would Blizz want to compete with it's own game (WOW) anyway.

Starcraft: BW is 1998...and it's still like wildfire in Korea. Can you imagine the insanity when SC 2 is released?

Madness~ Shocked

I can't find any bear spray so I'm not going.

Ayup, Starcraft 2!

It's great, I did personally wish for the MMO but RTS is a lot better match for real life (pause button)!

Someone on fark.com wrote, in response to the announcement, "If North Korea wants to walk into Seoul without a shot fired, they should do it the day after the Korean release."

That's not Starcraft 2. It's some heavily MODed version of another game. Check out Blizzard's official website for Starcraft II. Doo doong!

Beautiful.

I think the Olympic Park station on Line 5 is the closest, but you can also get there from Mongchontoseong station on Line 8. Go toward the stadiums inside Olympic Park. There are tons of signs, so you really can't miss it.

I was there. It was lots of fun... The Starcraft Demo rocked =) Now just have to wait the year or so it will take for blizz to actually release it
