Who has one?
Are they any good?
Who has used xbox360 and PS3? Is the latter significantly better (ie worth the extra dosh)?
What are the best games?
Is it worth getting one that's been chipped?

I have one.
Yes.
No. Only if you want the Blue-Ray player and have a HDTV. Gameswise the PS3 is way way behind the 360. Most of the games on PS3 are 360 ports and bad ones at that. Only Motorstorm and Resistance are worth buying.
Gears of War (3rd person shooter), Oblivion (RPG), Project Gotham Racing 3 (arcade racing game), Dead Rising (3rd person zombie killing game), Crackdown (3rd person GTA-like game in which you play a super-powered cop). These are just my favs, there are loads more good games.
No. You can't use Xbox Live which is awesome. |

Is that absolute? Wouldn't it depend on the nature of the chip? The reason is ask is that I'm currently in Bangkok and ripped games cost next to nothing.

| Well, no one knows right now how MS are detecting tampered machines and they can always use Live to sniff out offenders. |

It's worth getting a PS3 simply for the blu-ray capabilities - since a stand-alone player will cost you around $1000.
I'm personally not a serious gamer - which is why I opt for easy games with good replay value. I chose the DS over the PSP and will choose the Wii over PS3/360. Good look in your decisions |
