My co-teachers use some websites that sport lesson plans, activities, and other resources for the publc school books:
www.tnara.net (follows the books, and can be used as a substitute for the CDs)
I just put the second one in again, and it worked this time, here it is:
http://mms.kice.re.kr/tlc_content/content06/second01/data03/index.htm
Are there others?

You also might look at www.etseoul.or.kr Run by Korean english teachers and mostly in Korean except for lots of academic articles for download and many notices of events/workshops.
I also reply to teachers questions there for SMOE -- mostly about grammar.
But this is the site most commonly used by Korean English teachers.

Hey thanks for the sites!
I was talking with my co-teacher again about these, and there is another one; from how she described it, it seems like a site for sharing authentic resources, and lesson plans/activities (mainly used by Korean English teachers).
www.indischool.net
I know the school pays the bill for tnara.net, but I'm not sure about indischool.com. |

the www.tnara.net site is good if you forget to bring the CD to class. They have a lot of activities similar to the textbook.
If you don't know already, you can get English lesson plans here: http://gepik.ken.go.kr/r/bbs/board.php?bbs_code=k_e_teaching_03_03 They're the same as the Korean teachers' guide, but in English. There are lessons for grades 3, 4, 5 and 6. On the website there are tabs for each grade level, and on each tab there are three buttons. Click the button on the far right for the English lesson plans. |

Nice! I found the co-teaching lesson plans a little while ago, but didn't realize there were more buttons...
Yeah, my one CT swears by tnara.net. Plus, if you need to switch between a couple programs at once, the website won't distort the screen dimensions unlike the CD. |

I had to use the tnara site this week after the CD wouldn't play in class . . . it was the first time I'd used the "look and listen" parts. I was really thrown by the accents. I used it because I needed something to do in a pinch, but I will try to avoid the "look and listen"/"look and speak" parts at all costs.
How do you sign up for tnara? I couldn't find a "register" button or anything like that. |

I haven't a clue about how to register. My CTs did it all. They said it was through the school...sorry I couldn't help. I will try and remember to ask them. |

I asked my coteacher and she said it was a pay site. So, I can't really preview the chapters before I teach them. They're similar to the stuff on the CD, but not quite the same. I'm trying to devise lessons that do without the CD or Tnara. Well, at any rate, the Korean teacher should have access to the site, which means you all shouldn't have to pay anything. |
