Will most of the games available here have English options?
Does anyone have a list of games from experience that are in English?
I know I could just download any game I want but I've never liked games piracy.
Examples of games I'd like:
Dark Messiah of Might and Magic
Supreme Commander
Oblivion (already have this on Xbox360 and PC but left it at home)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R
Medieval Total War
F.E.A.R
Doom 3
Halo 2
Battlefield 2 and 2142
Farcry
etc. |

| You could use those e-tailor websites that will download the game direct to your hard-drive for a fee not much less than the store price. |

| All of the FPS games you listed are in English. Look for 한글반 on the box...this means the game is Korean. |

| Right, well, most of the games on sale in Korea are the full English version. But sometimes they are the Korean version. If they are the Korean version they should say 한 국 on the cover. |

In Yongsan market, there are people selling original boxed English PC games imported from the USA. I got a copy of Oblivion from there.
Don't go direct to drive IMO. Many of those games are not compatible with patches, mods or other goodness.
In general just ask the guy at the shop if a CD is 'yong-all pan' or 'hangul pan' Most of the time they will be able to tell you. I've never been lead wrong yet, at least not at the small shops. The big department stores won't have a clue so you will need to read the case.
If you go to Yongsan for all your PC needs you can't go far wrong. They speak English there- at least geek speak so communication is possible if you are down with the PC lingo. Just make sure you don't get ripped off. |
