WHY CHINESE ARE KICKING AMERICA'S BUTT

From Industry to electronics, jobs are being taken from America and sent to China. Folks seem to think this is happening simply because "evil" corporations want to hire really cheap Chinese labor so as to increase their profits.

That is one reason, but not the MAIN reason.

It kind of puts any ill feeling that Koreans may show to us in perspective (or maybe not..)

I'm asking because I want to know whether or not Chinese-Americans are kicking their own butts...

There is definately a breakdown in the education system in this country at all levels. My belief is that it stems from the liberal idea to reward failure. You take away standards and lower expectations as to not "hurt the childs feelings" or "make them feel pressured" etc. If a child guesses an answer and it's wrong, well, it's not really wrong, it's a 'good guess'. It might seem a trivial thing, but it's just the tip of the iceberg.

People that actually want to ban scores during sporting events so that there are no losers. Or schools that have banned using red ink to mark errors on assignments because it's deemed negative. They use purple ink because it's happier. It literally makes me naseaous.

My girlfriend is a teacher at the local highschool and deals with this everyday. Parents complaining that she's too harsh on students because she expects them to show up, do the work and behave like young adults rather then two-year olds.

A good friend of mine works in some sort of administrative capacity at Mizzou here in Missouri and one of her jobs is helping to place student teachers. She said that the people she runs across, future teachers, are some of the stupidiest people she have ever seen. She gives me examples weekly, and if even half of them are true, it terrifies me that some of these people might one day be teaching my children.

If we would stop worring so much about childrens 'emotional well-being' and self-estem' and instead giving them real standards to achieve and expecting them to do it, things would be a lot different.

But the girls in that picture are hot.

For any of you who're wondering, my sense is the website is juxtaposing those pics mainly as an all-too ironic joke.

Kinda highlights stero-typed cultural differences doesn't it? I found it all too poetick.

The liberal's "diversity" and "political correctness" which have taken over American university's curriculum and ideological stances is our downfall...

the Chinese study math, engineering,natural sciences, etc while Amerikan students study "Queer Studies" and "Lesbian art." what the f* do you expect???
