I am checking Motorcycle Street in Daejeon and I thought I would ask here too.

I probably am looking for a Magma or Mirage.

Thanks

I got a used 125CC Magma. the motorcycle is at my school right now. I bought i a few weeks ago from a Motorcycle/Scooter center. I got the original papers from the Motorcycle dealer.

I'll check the mileage next time I go to my school where its parked. I think its a 2004. The engine sounds great and it runs like a champ. The only reason I want to sell is cuz I'm a motorcycle noob and I didn't think riding it was going to be so difficult. I think I should get a scooter where I don't have to worry about clutching or shifting.

500,000 is the offer. I'll take pics next time for you. Its a blue color and there are scratch marks on the gas tank from where some dumb people keyed it. Its not from an accident and there are no dents or scrapes on it. The motorcycle center I bought the bike from gave it a thorough inspection. Also, a Korean teacher at my school who has ridden motorcycles for over 20 years gave it a test spin and said everything was in great shape.

500,000 won. I don't know how to ride it well so I'm pretty sure I won't be able to drive it down to Daejon. If you decide to buy, then I'll knock off the price of a train from Daejon to Seoul Station.

The Daelim Magma was discontinued in the late 90's to the best of my knowledge. Great bikes! It was my first one as a learner. Great price!

there are a few crooks operating on motorbike street so be wary. Also, it can be slightly cartel-ish in price-fixing.

A better bet in my opinion is to deal with a guy called Mr. Hong, located about 5 minutes walk from MB street.
For one, he speaks English, and for two, if he doesn't have what you need he will call around or look on the net for you, and not charge a middle-man fee.
Also his servicing is top-notch and relatively inexpensive.

i'm friends with the guy, so I might be a bit biased, but ask any foreigner in Daejeon driving a bike, and chances are they will agree.

When you get the bike, you might consider joining a touring club like Daejeon riders!
