My wife intends to stay with me using her f3 visa. Does she need an ARC
and if so what's involved in getting one in Kwangju?
Thanks |

Yes, she needs an ARC.
She should require:
=a copy of YOUR certificate of employment (letter from your boss that says you are still working and able to support her)
=her passport,
=copy of YOUR ARC
=application
=10,000 won.
Go to your local immigration office. It takes 15-20 minutes to do the paperwork. They will take her passport during processing. It will be returned with her ARC.
The registration process USUALLY takes 4-7 days from application to return of the ARC/passport.

My wife is due over this week. Immigration in Suwon said that she needed to change her tourist visa to a F3 when she gets here.
I need an application form, my ARC card, copy of her passport, our certificates notorized by my embassy in English and 50,000W. |
