I have the hardest time finding lists of events happening, etc. Maybe if you have just something touristy you would suggest seeing... |

I was thinking the same thing. I decided on Cold Stone Ice Cream then a boat trip on the Han River. |

Get on a bus or train and head to a Gangwondo beach.
You could be there by 3pm.
And you don't work tomorrow.
Why the hell not?
Signed,
VI at Sangju Beach on the southern coast, taking a half hour break from the fun and sun, here with three other waygook teachers.
The water's not cold! |

Go to the horseraces. Subway line 4. Seoul Racecourse is the name of the stop. 800 won to get in. Minimum bet is 100 won. No alcohol sold. Sneak in your own. Good cheap fun. There's also a foreigner's section on the 4th floor of the new building where you can get racing info in English. |
