The following is in the body of an application to CDI Holdings which I am considering:
In exchange for the consideration of my job application by CDI Holdings, Inc. (hereinafter called "the Company"), I agree that:
Neither the acceptance of this application nor the subsequent entry into any type of employment relationship, either in the
position applied for or any other position, and regardless of the contents of employee handbooks, personnel manuals, benefit
plans, policy statements, and the like as they may exist from time to time, or other Company practices, shall serve to create an
actual or implied contract of employment, or to confer any right to remain an employee of CDI Holdings, or otherwise to change
in any respect the employment-at-will relationship between it and the undersigned.
I authorize investigation of all statements contained in this application. I understand that the misrepresentation or omission of
facts called for can be cause for dismissal at any time without any previous notice. I hereby give the Company permission to
contact schools, previous employers (unless otherwise noted), references, and others, and hereby release the Firm from any
liability as a result of such contract.
I also understand that (1) the Company has a drug and alcohol policy that provides for pre-employment testing; (2) my consent
to and compliance with such policy is a condition of my employment.
CDI is open most days of the year, hence may require instructors to work on national holidays except for the Korean
Thanksgiving and the Lunar New Year holidays. Vacation time is available upon following proper request procedure. Other
holidays may be granted at the sole discretion of the Company. By signing below I agree to working on at least one, and if not
both of the weekend days and holidays if required |

I think they may also require an anal probe, but I am not 100% sure of this. |

The company is only trying to ensure that you provide them with verifiable information, and that if you do lie, they can get rid of you for doing so. I would only be afraid if you have something to hide. The company is reputable enough to dismiss any suspicions you might have. |
