This is a 10 minute video/audio clip apparently produced in Iraq. No violence or graphic images, just an interesting perspective.

As many of us have been saying from the beginning, this "war" is not being foght by Al Queda. They are opportunists, and are not welcomed by most Iraqis. The lie that we are there to fight Al Queda is grotesque: AQ followed us there.

The greatest damage we are doing is in turning even those who initially thanked us for ending Saddam's rule into life-long (thus, generations in many cases) enemies.

Why don't the sunnis ask for independence?

I wonder do you think the Kurds want to be ruled by the Sunnis who gassed them. ?

How about the Shias do they want to be ruled by the Sunnis?

The insurgents are fighting for Iraq they are fighting to o conquer Iraq cause they cant' win elections.

What gives the Sunnis the right to tell the Kurds and the Shias (80% of the population) what to do?

Joo, don't be silly. Do you really expect these people to answer these pertinent questions? They are more interested in propaganda that supports their warped view of the war and their warped view of the world.

You always ask the right questions and either get no answers or ridicule. Gotta love the intellectually honest left.

From a self confessed neocon (and proud to be one) just more of the same, horse pukey.

The Sunni were top dogs, but their part of Iraq doesn't have any oil. Saddam the Insane kept them in power by shear aggression and near genocide. Taking him out was a blessing to all of Iraq but the ones losing top dog spot.

The invasion of Iraq was basically a message to all of he Islamic world, that should have been kept on script but wasn't. The script was don't mess with us or p1ss us off. Certainly al Qeada followed rather than preceeded the invasion. Tell someone who cars as I don't.

At this time, let the insurgents have their way. The US can withdraw to bases in Kurdistan and the south. The the Shi'ites can get on with their long overdue ethnic cleaning of the Sunnis, who deserve it. [/b]
