I just picked up a wireless router.

I have it connected to my cable modem.

I can connect to the routers admin panel without any problems.

I've tried the wizard and manual settings and I cannot get it to connect to it's gateway.

I can click on the properties in the bottom right of my screen and see the IP address of my computer and the IP address of the router which is the gateway.

Yet within it's setup screen it cannot connect to the gateway and therefore no internet connection can be had.

I have tried cloning the MAC address of my cable modem to the router but that has made no difference either.

Is it a buggered router or something else?
