I want to change to a Nokia phone from my current Samsung. I have used Nokia phones before and find there menus and options much more logical and useful. Also, some Nokias can connect to PCs and be like drag and drop harddisks, which make it so easy to download pictures and upload ringtones. My Samsung phone must use Samsung PCLink software which I have never gotten to run on English windows after weeks of trying. Anyway, the point is, I really want a Nokia phone.
Can I get a Nokia phone and get it to work with the same phone number that I have now with LG? I went to the LG shop, and they dont sell Nokia phones. If I buy a phone at an external shop, can I take it to LG and get my service switched over to that phone? I dont see many Nokia phones around, but I have heard there are a few, any idea for a good place to buy a Nokia phone.
Thanks,
Drew |

Monday Morning Bumpity Bump.
Any Nokia user's out there?
Did you change your service from an old phone to the Nokia?
Thanks,

At the moment you cannot buy a Nokia phone here. Nokia pulled out of the Korean market in 2003. But I hear they are going to give it another shot soon, so wait until then I guess.
An alternative may be the world phone option I hear is available for ridiculous prices, but there would be no phone number transfer possible.
My old Nokias are just expensive alarm clocks here.
There was a good thread about this a couple of weeks ago, search the forum. |
