Are There Any Good Places to Eat Out at in Wonju and what is the best shopping spots for groceries?

| Groceries: I just take the bus to Emart. There is also the market downtown. |

Emart is alright, but expensive. You can buy Shilla rye bread at the Hanaro mart. The 5 day markets are the best and cheapest times to buy vegetables, often direct from producers. They run on 2-7, 12-17, 22-27. The downtown black market carries lasagna noodles, spicy mustards, tortilla bread (in the freezer). More expensive, but if you can't make it into Seoul. . . .
