Losing my key has always been a fear of mine. Today it happened. Not a huge deal actually, just a bit embarrassing. I tried calling my friend over the curse of several hours to see if maybe he had it, but no answer thus far. |

Yup. Dropped my keys down an elevator shaft once. Apparently they really can fall in that little crack between the elevator and the floor.
Luckily, I had a roommate. |

I have a spare set hidden somewhere not far from my house.
They are not labeled so if someone finds them they won't know what house the go to. It's not anywhere
obvious like a mailbox, potted plant or door mat. |

Havent lost it in Korea, but locked it in the house a few times back home and had to pay 20$ to have someone break me in. |

Call a locksmith. Might cost 30,000 Won for them to get you and and make you a couple of new keys. |

Don't worry, your boss has a spare key. He'll act like he doesn't know where it is for a couple of minutes, but then he'll remember it's on his desk next to the surveillance equipment. |

How I wish this was untrue.

Which reminds me that I need to change mine before leaving on vacation this summer. Don't want the boss sticking my temp replacement in here without my knowing. I doubt they'd pull anything like that. But hey, you know... Korea... |

I came home late one night and dropped my motorbike and house keys down a storm water drain. I was putting my keys in my pocket while getting of the bike and dropped it.
The drain was about 3 feet deep and covered with a heavy iron grid. I found a long metal bar at a nearby construction site and used it as a lever to heave open the heavy grid. A Korean boy walked pass and I told him to hold onto the bar while I ducked in to get my keys. Told him not to drop the grid on my head
The keys where covered in a nice coat of slime. |

Oh yeah, they are great until the battery runs out. That happened to me, jeez, what an episode. Came back at around 7pm on a Saturday and the pad went blank. Took about 3 hours to find a building manager to use his master key to let me in. I now carry a key with me at all times. |

On my house in the US I had a remote door lock. It was so James Bond. There was a keypad and a key for backup. |
