in Korea? What are the most salient ones? I think the first and foremost challenge, to me, was understanding that when imperatives are given (mul-i-ryo; mul ul chuseyo - Water, I want) in the Korean language and are then translated into English, they aren't meant as such. Rather, that is how the language is. A person wouldn't say I want water in a restaurant in most other countries. That is simply rude and one may find a 'surprise' in their water.

| It took me a while to figure out what 'buttery', '석소', and 'strong' (in bed) meant. Skinship was a fun one to figure out but that was mainly cuz it was on a date with a girl who didn't speak any English, and I, no Korean. |
