|
|
How much is a taxi going to cost from the airport to Yongin?
The flight will get in at 19:50 which will be cutting it fine to catch the limousine bus back to the city.
Do the buses to Gangnam stop early as well or do they run all night? |

My guess is ..about 70.000 W.
You could always just stay overnight in a cheap motel then catch the subway early in the morning. |

Not a bad plan.
I will have been three months since I saw the missus and she could wash my clothes in the motel room sink.
Where does one find a cheap motel? |

Ah. Problem is there are none near the airport- nor at least not that I know of.. You have to at least get a taxi or bus to Incheon. |

WHy not just catch one of the limo busses? I have never heard about them stopping early and am pretty sure you could find one to Gangnam or Bundang, and then take a local/red or other bus to Yongin.
If you decide to go to the taxi route, I would try and negotiate a price with the driver.
If you're really desperate, take the subway |

You have plenty of time to catch the airport bus back. 8:00 won't be cutting it that close as there's not such a long wait at Incheon and I believe the busses run untill 9:30 or 10:00 or so. In fact, you should get out at Suwon and catch the 6000 "fast" bus to your final "secret" destination...save the 7,000won taxi from the Yongin bus station to your home.. |

Actually, the last bus to Yongin is at 8:20. However, if you miss it, you have an alternative--
Take the 602 (it's about 8,000 won) to the Express Bus Terminal. The bus to Yongin runs until 10:10pm and costs 2,200.
If you need to get back even later, walk 10 minutes or take a taxi (don't bother with a subway- it's too indirect) to Gangnam. In front of Stef's Hot Dogs (near a Body Shop and a Pascucci's Cafe, closer to Kyobo Tower than the subway station), you can catch a 5001 to Yongin.
Good luck! |

Remember that the flight LANDS at 1950hrs, it can take an hour to get thro' immigration and collect your checked baggage, depending on how many flights land in that time window. Therefore if you clear the airport by 2100hrs, there is a good possibilty that you will not be able to catch a bus from Gangnam to Yongin. |

How much luggage do you have? Catching buses or subs might be hard if you are carrying a ton of stuff. |

I'm sure that the limo buses to Suwon (Hotel Castle) run up until 2200hrs, which costs 12,000 a head. From there a taxi to Yongin, would be considerable cheaper, then straight from the airport. |

Book an earlier flight or like Kermo said take a bus or the subway (think it might be running now) to Gangnam and then hop the 5002 (I'm pretty sure I've gotten one as late as 10:45 from Gangnam)...sorted. Baggage shouldn't be a big problem as only ones flying in and you'll be meeting her...

Yongin is an enormous area. I'm guess a taxi ride from one end to the other could be 20-30k. You could be looking at a 100,000 won taxi ride.
I think they have storage at the airport. You could store the stuff, take a bus to Incheon, take the subway to Seoul, taxe a bus to Yongin and then come back the next day.
You could also take a taxi to the Incheon bus terminal and find a motel around there.
Maybe you could get someone to pick you up. |

The last bus to Bundang is also 22:40 but stop 8A.
Going via Gangnam - last bus leaves the airport at 22:30. Stops at doors 4-10-11.
