i am having a bit of a problem with some software. It opens fine and runs for a random amount of time (5-20 min) then windows says it has found a problem and offers to send an error report. It has been working fine for the past two months and has just started recently. The only other programme that does this is zone alarm (maybe once every 3-4 weeks). I have not changed anything that could affect it. i am working on my masters and really need this software
If possible i would like to be able to fix this without reinstalling as it is a real pain to install
The name of the software is ArcGIS 9.1 and yes it is a downloaded version. and no i can not buy a legal version (in excess of $1500US)
any ideas?? |

I have seemed to have fixed it. Did a bit more searching and it it seems ArcGis can have problems if you don't manually clear out your temp file. It seems to be working fine now.
i had nearly 300 mb of rubbish in the temp file. |
