Yes, another question..I've used the search function but was unable to find anything helpful.
I want to get my degree notarized..and I have to do it at a Korean Consulate that serves my district. That consulate is in Chicago...a good 5/6 hours away from me...not looking to drive that far. I called their office and the lady did say I can do it by mail. She transferred me to the person who was in charge of this procedure....was on hold for a good 20 minutes before I got tired and hung up.
Anyone know the procedure to send it in to have it notarized? Thanks |

I had mine done at the consulate in LA. Dunno if the process is different but I just walked in and it took about 20 minutes tops(it took me longer to find a parking spot in Dtwn LA). All they did wass look at my degree, my valid photo id(which they also need a copy of), stamped the copy degree and that was that.
Dunno if you wanna do it by mail. I'm always a bit trepidatious when it comes to parting with any original important documentation.
Good luck. |
