I was wondering when the schools hire? I was told Feb and Sept, but I'm not too sure when I should start posting my resume?

If anyone has any info or knows of any good public jobs in Seoul in September, please respond or message me if it's easier.

Thanks a bunch!!

While the main recruitment times for public schools may be before the start of each semester ... The public schools do recruit all year ... In part because they don't fill all the jobs at those times ... and also because contracts teachers are on finish at different times during the year ... depending on when they started ... So there are actually usually jobs avaiable at any time of the year ... ie when you are able to start ... When I started looking most of the advertised jobs were for March start dates ... but I was not able to start until April ... but I thought that it wouldn't hurt to start looking ... and within a few days had interviews/offers for jobs with an April start date ... even though none were formally advertised at that point ... So what I would suggest is start looking when you are ready to start or know when you can start ... About 6 weeks out is a safe margin ... Give when you are avaiable and see what happens ... And take the time to find the job that is right for you .. I can guarantee that it won't take long for offers to start coming ... so don't necessarily take the first job that comes up ... (Unless it is the right one for you)... They will keep coming....

I believe I just saw a recruitment ad for some September starts with a 31 May deadline, maybe it was SMOE.... I'm not looking for public school so I didn't pay real close attention...
