I have been in Korea about 1.5 years. In the past 2 months I started having problems with cracking on the corners of my mouth. Has anyone had this problem here? When I take viatmins it seems to clear up. I am thinking it is some vitamin deficiency. I hope it is that simple. Thanks

If you recently changed sexual preferences in who you date -- this could be the problem.

Cracks at the corners of your mouths are symptomatic of a vitamin b deficiency. Do you also feel tired? Eat more marmite/vegemite, and take vitamin b pills. should be fine.

it is actually vitamin B1 (thiamine) that is needed for the cracked mouth thingo.

b group vitamins are water soluable.. any excess will be lost in the toilet, sweating, etc... they need to be taken more than once a day if you are doing something that causes you to spend your natural reserves and if you aren't eating correctly

If it is a vit. B thing, I've heard that caffine strips vit. B. from your body.

Could be dehydration though! Korea can be VERY dry. Drink more water and see if that helps.
