Quick question: I have an Mp3 player that charges its battery by way of USB port. I am not bringing a computer so my plan was to charge the MP3 at my school or internet cafe. If Korea uses a different voltage to power their computers, would that voltage then fry my MP3 player if i plugged in my USB cord?

I have an ipod that has been charged on North American computers and Korean computers, no problem. I also have an ac adpater for the ipod, and I stuck one of those korean plug adapters on it (not a converter/step up step down anything - it's just a korean plug) and it charges fine.

Thanks for the info. I just spoke with a polish friend of mine who said her son charged his North American mp3 on a polish computer. No problems.

I think I'll be ok. One less thing to worry about.

Leaving in three more days.

You can conveniently use a USB power chord available in electronics markets for 5$. USB standard and the power parameters is globally same.
