For those of you with SMOE, when you re-sign your contract, do they pay for your roundtrip ticket in full or do they only reimburse you for half of the ticket, then the other half when you return back to Korea?

Most of the people I know who re-signed paid for their own ticket and got a 100% reimbursement when they returned to work.

I do not know anyone who got 1/2 and 1/2.

I have one more question. My co-teacher told me that I needed to have the actual airline ticket/boarding pass for reimbursement. This sounds kinda silly as most airlines just issue e-tickets these days and what the heck do they need my boarding pass for? She's often been the source of misinformation so please tell me she's full of beans, please.

A copy of the printout of the e-ticket and copy of the original receipt with the price in KRW is all that is required.

If you want you can give copies of the boarding passes AFTER you make sure you get your flight miles on your frequent flyer plan.
