This, of course, after I bought Half Life:2 about a month ago. Oh well. Oh, yeah, I have a Radeon, so it does affect me. Or would have. Bastards. |

This is great news. I got HL2 with my Radeon purchase, and now I get Lost Coast as well.
Groovy. |

The Lost Coast was free for everyone who bought HL2.
ATI's latest sucks bad when compared to nVidia. Way to go AMD! |

The deal only includes the Deathmatch mode, not Half Life 2 itself. And Lost Coast is a short graphic demo they produced when they started to support high-dynamic lighting. I don't know anyone who considers it a game as most demos are longer than it is. I certainly don't recall it ever being marketed as a game.
But at least with HL2:DM, you can pony up $10 and get Garry's Mod 9 which is amazingly fun (and requires an existing game which already has the HL2 graphic engine). |
