This isnt a fantastic tip, but something ive been doing to feel like being in a bit of 'normality' in a morning while trying to wake up!
Everyone goes on about 'digital sound', 'crystal clarity' etc but for me its nice to have that old fashioned analogue sound from a little radio.

To achieve this you will need a couple of things-

1. Internet connection
2. The radio player software that some of the big sites need (the UK has Radio 1 with great access to all the radio shows broadcast) or a good old ipod loaded with podcasts
3. An FM transmiter (the kind for connecting an ipod/other into a car)
4. A suitable radio for the shower or any radio really

Get your radio playing back through whatever means you have (laptop/pc/ipod) plug in the FM transmiter to the headphone/speaker socket and tune your radio to pick up the signal and hey presto, a small feeling of being back home, a bit of overkill to get there, but if you listen to the radio a lot back home it can be strangely comforting!

What happens when you get electrocuted, Huh? I bet that wouldn't feel too comforting, eh?

How about just putting on internet radio a little loud and keeping the bathroom door open? You must have quite a palace if you need an FM transmitter to span the vast distances of your Korean apartment! Laughing

Don't listen to podcasts? That's radio but when you want it. Do people really only listen to music on their MP3 players?? My MP3 player has become my little digital teacher as I listen to recordings of radio or audio book documentaries on history, science, politics......just about anything, on the commute to and from work. Music all the time would be so boring.
