Just saw this on the Nonghyup website.
Any ideas as to what the story is. The 'click here' link doesn't work (not surprisingly) |

You should do all your banking at the bank. NEVER put your info on the net, too many activeX programs that can do horrifying things to you.
Most Koreans have several accounts, borrow one of theirs to use until you get your bank card. Other than that, keep computer passwords & your bank account very far apart.

I saw that, too, and yes, they have the popup on the Korean site, too. No idea what it is. I might pop down tomorrow to ask. |

It's on the Korean side of the site too. They want customers, who do on-line tranfers, to go to a branch to pick up new hardware for their new on-line tranfers method. I think...
Looks like you can have your choice of 1 of 6 or so choices. It ranges from a random security number generator to using some sercurity USB stick. |

I think that is for business's only the dongles . NOt 100% sure. CT didn't think I had to go in since I keep my Nongyup transfers limit low anyway. |

I asked my CT about it and all he said was that his wife handles all the finances. Great help he was. I will confirm with one of the older female english teachers.
So, mrsquirrel, I think you are right. It is only for business customers that need to get brand spanking new hardware. I think for most guys on this board, the only thing that concerns us is that there is a 1 million limit per on-line transfer and is limited to 5 million a day. I think most won't even come close to transferring 5 million on-line in a month.
NH needs to hire more competent translators for their english online content. |
