Damn immigrants, don't they know that America was once open to European immigration only? Now that European immigrants don't want to come anymore, AMERICA IS CLOSED! We tried letting a few immigrants into America of non-European descent and look at what's happening, THEY CANNOT ASSIMILATE TO OUR EUROPEAN CULTURAL CREDO! THEY REFUSE TO ABANDON THEIR LANGUAGE, CUSTOMS AND CULTURE FOR OURS! What kind of Americans are these? These people will never and could never be "real" Americans! They want to change America and I will not have one bit of that going on; hell fcking no, dammit! So the answer is "hell no!" No more immigrants!

Wink

Just kidding.

I voted "yes." Let anyone who wants to come here be happy.

I have a feeling I will get flamed, so I hope everyone reads all of what I've written.

Absolutely not. Talk about setting a bad precedent.

Personally, I think everyone needs to go through the regular channels to become a citizen. Immigration is great for the U.S., but legally should be encouraged not discouraged.

I'm in South Korea now.. legally. What if Korea had some system where if I was here ILLEGALLY for awhile, I could live and vote for South Korean presidents and live here the rest of my life without a problem.. but by being here legal with my e-2 visa.. I am unqualified for that?

But of course! I am sure plenty of "real American families" will want to lend out their high school aged children to do back-breaking part time work picking strawberries in Watsonville, California if the migrant laborers get the heave-ho. Laughing
