All of this Mike Vick stuff just keeps getting worse for him and the Falcons. On ESPN.com today there is a report that there is enough evidence to indict him (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2888085). Once again the media is putting all this stuff out before any arrests. So shame on Vick even though he has not been charged yet, or shame on the media? If he is charged, sucks for the Falcons... |

The media is just reporting what they are finding. I say shame on the media for trying to crucify Clinton Portis for basically his opinion. Especially coming from a guy like Portis who has a different slant on life and could easily be talking tongue in cheek.
Yikes I'm a complete Portis homer...but still. |

Shame on Vick. All of the news I've heard regarding this recent scandal is disgusting. If all of this turns out to be true---and it looks like it will be---I'm interested what the commissioner has planned. Will he throw a year's suspension at Vick, like he did Pacman Jones, or will one of the most well-known NFLers get special treatment? |

If this turns out to be true, his ass might (and that's mighty big might) be in jail....
Guess he won't be on the cover of Madden 2009... |

His opinion is its ok for a guy to run a dog fighting ring. The media should smack him around a bit. Sure the guy is entitled to his opinion but he should kept his mouth shut. It's not really cute to make jokes about animal cruelty ya know? |

Vick should be ashamed of himself for being involved with animal cruelty. Those defending him are losers. That includes Portis and his friends. |

He's an idiot. Why would he carry dope onto a plane when he could just buy it anywhere he wants? Or keep it at home. It's not like he's poor. And then he puts it in a container (soap or shampoo dipsenser or something) that isn't allowed to be carried on the plane anyway. Or it's something they always search. Plus he could've just let one of his body guards carry it. |

Well i interpreted more as him saying the police have more important things to be doing, but yea it was over the line. Just reading some of the articles about it made me annoyed. |

Regarding the "water bottle" indecent, no drugs were found in the "suspect" water bottle and he passed a drug test... so it's possible in this case, that the media treated him unfairly.
The "dog fighting investigation" is a different matter though. |
