Have you written a syllabus for your classes? Or do you just keep it in your head?

I have for my MS writing class, but for regular classes it would be a bit pointless. I might see one class 16 times a term and another of the same grade 11 times. After the first month the schedule starts turning to swiss cheese. It's better just to supplement the textbook as much as possible.

Also a good idea to read through the book with a Korean teacher and try and work out exactly what the learning outcomes are.

I've been thrown a few times with the complete randomness of the book that I couldn't work out for the life of me what they wanted out of it.
