Does this apply to foreigners as well?

http://english.molab.go.kr/english/policy/working_standards/pol0302.jsp

My contract states that I only get eight paid vacation days but this website states that the minimum is fifteen. What's up with that?

Have you completed your year of service?

But I'm also wondering about the hours. It says this is for workers who put in 40 hours a week. Most of us only work 30.

The website just states the maximum working hours. It doesn't state that this applies to people who work at least 40 hours.

I want to know if these same laws apply to foreigners.

WOW. That is good to know. My boss is going to hate me even more come Monday. Although, I thought about waiting until the end of my contract and telling them they must pay me for unused vacation days they failed to mention are required by law. I would have never even bothered to check this out if my boss had treated me with a little bit of respect.
