Hey guys, I'm just wondering if there is very much in terms of mixed martial arts events in South Korea. I know that K1 and other Japanese organizations get there every so often, but is there a very big scene or is it pretty small? |

Yeah there is MMA gyms. Remember you will probably out weigh most of the Koreans.
The technical name for MMA in Korea is "Ye-jawng-chuawk-too-ge" which might nelp when you are asking Koreans.
The training method at the gym I was learning at was not as good as the method used in gyms in the UK. Like learning boxing by - 1 - 2 - step, 1 - 2 - step, up and down a hall, like you expect to see a karate class doing kata.
Because of my late timetable I cant go to MMA classes anymore *so sad, so sad. |

Hey Wrench,
I am leaving near the end of August to teach in Changwon. I've been interested in getting into MMA for a while now but there is nothing like that where I live. How is the MMA in Changwon?
