|
|
Is it more cost effective to convert Korean won to Chinese renminbi before traveling outside Korea to China
OR
to convert Korean won to USD than back to Chinese RMB in China?
My hunch is that the former is true.
Note: The PRC still does not have a convertible currency.
Any input will be much appreciated. |

Convert your won to RMB here. You can take extra US$ for your reserve/backup as well as your VISA/MC credit card.
It is almost impossible to get a decent forex rate converting WON outside of Korea. |

And your two threads on this board don't even have crafty titles. You're pathetic! |

Excuse me... FLAMERS should stay in the OFF-TOPIC or CURRENT EVENTS forums where you belong.
In here we are polite and helpful. |

Give me a break.
At least on the Surrent Events forum Stevie attempts to be clever with his threa titles. So while it still annoys me, I'll give him some credit. Begrudgingly of course.
But his threads on this board are no where close to being clever. It's just a lame attempt to gain attention like a little child would do.
And I responed so I'm an idiot too. |

Change to USD. Walk in a bank, see the guys hovering around who will offer to exchange your money for you - yup, they do it blatantly in front of the clerks in the bank - you will get a far better rate.
That's what we used to do. Not anymore though. We just use our international bank card and withdraw money! |

Those guys who change the money, ask you to count it, then they count it again and scam some on their recount?
Never change money outside of an authorized institution.
