I did some math on immigration, specifically on remittances. Mexico gets $12 billion a year from remittances. With 12 - 20 million illegals, it looks like each illegal sends about $3000 a year back. Thats not alot of money.
The USA could send all those people back, put them on social security for 15 years and come out ahead. Latin America would come out twice ahead, secured cash for free for doing nothing plus with the free time the Mexicans could work more provided they used thier resources wisely. That would be like a double payment. Its sizable and has potentail for good and abuse but outr politicians want the idea quieted.
