I prefer summer because I hate to freeze, but I just saw my first roach after being in this apartment for 5 months. Thank God I have a can of spray and he just got his butt zapped. Tomorow, it's time to go buy the roach motels. Dang heat!!!!! I already have my plug-in mosquito zapper in here, too. Bugs suck!

Where do you live? I'm in Pyeongchang and it hasn't gotten hot here yet.

I have ants and spiders eating the ants. It's an ecosystem. No roaches.

Never had a roach problem in Korea.

Taiwan? That was a different story. They even have big-arse flying roaches there.

Bug spray is harmful to you. Grab yourself a good pair of high-heel stilletos and squish them good when you see them. Wink

If you think roaches are nasty, you probably haven't seen house centipedes. Nastiest buggers nature ever created.

Have them. They are nasty (and they move fast, too....difficult little buggers to kill.) I've heard they bite too, but never had the misfortune to suffer one. Oh, and I have roaches too (I live in a semi-basement apartmment....anyone care to swap?)

I run a business and we have an exterminator come in quarterly to check for roaches, mice etc. He says that the gel type poisons are the best followed by the powdered borate types. Traps/hotels are usually ineffective and are used by professionals t gauge the level of infestation.
An old trick from my pirate days is to take some borate powder and make a paste with it and sweetened condensed milk. Roll them in little balls and place around the ship.

LOL! Nah, no fetish here. I could have just said "stomp on them" but because it's princess's OP, I couldn't resist mentioning the types of shoes because I can bet manwon she defintely owns a pair.

I saw a rat yesterday. I was sitting on a bench in front of Korea Institute Science & Technology KIST, this was a wooden bench that had slabs of wood with little 2 inch spaces between them...at first I thought it was a squirrel, then I remembered that Korea doesn't have squirrels (Why is that I wonder?) and I looked down between the slabs of wood - there was his tail and furry little body...I was thinking that if the Koreans ever catch that plump little bastard...good eatin' Razz
