I need to come up with some ideas for a large adult class (20-40 students), intermediate level. Class is 50 mins long and should get the students talking as much as possible. Role plays would be good. Any ideas of topics? |

Current even discussion always works well with adult students.
Especially, related to sex or sexuality. |

There's a set of photocopiable books published by Penguin, titled "Pair Work" 1,2 and 3. I've used book 1 with adult beginners and found it great for promoting conversation. Our office assistant had to order them 2 or 3 times before our distributor finally found them for us, but they've been well worth the trouble. |
