The battery in my laptop has crapped out. My gf checked Dell Korea's site as well as Danawa and GMarket and couldn't come up with anything as far a place to get a replacement. It's a Dell Inspiron 9300 (2005 model?). Does anyone have any suggestions?

the cheapest way is to find people who will actually open up the battery pack and replace the individual battery cells. that should only set you back a few thousand won per cell (usually laptop batteries have six cells, the bigger packs have nine).

otherwise i would call Dell Korea and see if they can replace your battery. it wouldn't surprise me if the same battery is used for several different laptop models.
