I know it's a longshot, but is there a way (short of buying a new OS) to get my work laptop to display Windows in English? |

No
You can install the Eng. OS and then change the GUI to Korean, but not visa versa. |

Not sure if this would work on a Korean OS, but this hard drive from Seagate allows you to carry your software, web browser, personal settings to use on another computer and then leaves no traces when you remove it. This link is for the 12GB version, but I believe they have versions up to 500GB. Google to find out.

If your notebook is running M$ Vista Ultimate you can change menu languages and such, but previously installed programs will still be in same language they were installed from the beginning. Anyway, since you are probably using XP this information doesn't help you. Sorry!
The Vista language files are huge (600MB) but seem to work quite well. Now I can change between English, Finnish and Korean menus... which is actually useless feature for me right now. |
