I'm coming over June 13th and arriving in Incheon on Thursday evening. I'll be teaching at a high school in Namyang-ju.
Nobody has told me what to expect my first few days or week there but nevertheless I'd really like to make it into Seoul for some salsa dancing. I know there are 2 or 3 clubs, depending on the night it is but..
What should be my strategy for getting from Namyang-ju into Seoul? Once I determine which club I'm going to (and one of them, I think, in in Itaewon) should I get someone in Namyang-ju to write the address and direction in Korean on a piece of paper for me so I can ask someone on my way in to help guide me?
Or should I expect to be able to find someone who speaks enough English to point me in the right direction once I get into the transportation channels...or what?
Later today I'm going to look on the one salsa website I found that lists some of the good Seoul salsa spots but if you have any advice about where to go, I'm open to hear it too. |
