Hey girls... I'm going to get my girlfriend a present for our anniversary, but want it to be a surprise. I found out that she wants "mook chanel pink sandal" but have no idea what those are... hehe... I googled it and came up with nothing. Perhaps a spelling mistake in there?

can a girl help a guy out? pics? where to get it? thanks! Cool

Hre you go http://www.mookmall.co.kr/ That's the website for the brand (Mook) and I think she means the sandals in chanel pink. But I might be wrong and she wants chanel! Hope this helps.

Wow, good spotting Ticktock!

I think maybe she means these ones http://www.mookmall.co.kr/product/productDetail.asp?mGubun=M&part1=2&part2=21&part3=152&productCode=101_50682920pj because they seem to be the only pink sandals that have "Mook Channel" [sic] printed on them - the others have "Mook Design"

What is so special about these sandals? They're quite expensive. I bought my wife a pair of 10,000won sandals last week and she raves about them.

My parents' class and I were discussing gift giving yesterday.

It came up that in Korea, men and women will never buy shoes for their partner, because of the superstition that the receiver will run off with someone else.

Of course, one woman says it's okay that her husband gives her money and she buys shoes for herself!

Anyway, I thought about this thread and asked them what your girlfriend would think. They said "She'll be happy... I guess a K-boyfriend might not buy his gf shoes!!

Interesting superstition! Now I'm scared!! Embarassed

Hehe... but the Korean girls who were present at the time I was buying the gift (helping me out) were raving about how good of a boyfriend I am. But who knows... this superstition thing scares me now!

I'll update you all on if she runs away!! Laughing
