Another teacher at my school is having a baby shower. My husband is coming from the states and I would like to give the teacher a gift for the baby that he can't get here. Any ideas? |

One piece sleepers ( the ones with the feet in them) are very expensive here. We had a dozen sent from home when our little one was born.
Decent baby toys (rated 0-6 months) are also very expensive and it hard to find any variety. |

Teething gel/powder (Bonjela/Calgel/Weleda)
Aloe gel- nemesis of nappy rash and other non-specific skin disorders !
Teething gel's a must for later, and I just found small tubes of aloe gel, but sold as a cosmetic and very expensive. |

Is she korean or Western? My wife is pregnant and is having my mom bring over a layette. (I suppose for a Korean, it might be easier to find said items, with a bigger network) We know that we can find some of the stuff in a layette here, but believe we can't find it all, or in the same place. She also wants my mom to bring over a changing pad, as they can be hard to find. (if I am wrong on these, please advise so I can save my mom the hassle)
Do you know if it is a boy or a girl? My wife wants a peepee teepee; a little cup to place over a boy during changing to avoid getting showered by him. |

Decent cloth diapers. But, I guess you'd have to know that they want to use cloth over disposable. |

Your husband should go to Baby Depot at Burlington Coat Factory- it's discount, and stuff is dirt cheap. I bought a stroller there for $20. Apparently strollers are wicked expensive here. There are some new bottles from Playtex that are really wide- they come in a set of 3 colors (bottles are expensive here, too). Anyway, they reduce gassiness with the design, and the nipple is more like the breast. You can't get them here, and they are AWESOME (my MIL loves to feed the baby barley tea in them). I GUARANTEE the teacher will love them! |

Anything with a recognized foreign name (Fisher Price, Swaddlebees, Gerber, etc..) would be welcomed. |
