I just seem to use this board to ask for something......but has anyone stayed in, or know of, a good hotel in Gangneung? Ideally close to Gyeongpo beach? I've googled but didn't come up with much.

There are a collection of hotels and minbaks along the coast of Gyeongpo Beach. It's been a while, but last time I noticed some pretty swanky hotels, and a few cheapo minbaks et al - there should be a range of choices.
I've found booking ahead in Korea doesn't really work, it's a case of showing up and looking around. |
