I've just scientifically solved a hangover in Family Mart, I just need a couple of more ingredients before I can be perfect. Here's my list so far:
2 litre water.
Box of Vitamin C sachets.
Small Snickers.
Tacos with salt (or anything with salt).
Oxygen (take the long walk home).
Here's what I need:
Vitamin B2, B5, B6, B12 (no bananas I'm afraid)
Vitamin H

Prevent the Hangover:
Eat a slice of Pizza or something starchy--ie a big bowl of rice--before you head to bed.
Drink a tall glass of water
Sleep off the alcohol
If a hangover appears then the following must be done:
Find the closest greasy spoon/fast food joint possible and eat as much of the grease as you can.
If you can't find a greasy spoon fry up some eggs--it has some medicimal purpose with respect to alcohol absorbtion(so I heard somewhere and has worked in my old skool days of party party party)
I've gotten smarter in that when I go out drinking I try not to go overboard but there are those moments when you just get lost in the drink therefore I have to eat something starchy to soak up the alcohol after a night of drinking. Work off the starch in the morning!

Or....
Drink water during the night out (1 glass per beer for example) and drink 1-2 tall glasses of water before going to bed.
If you have a hangover the next day...hot the spa and sit in the sauna for a while...works miracles. |

thus making sure you spend 99% of your time out in the bathroom. I suggest that in the bathroom you drink your own urine also. I heard it's an acient preventative measure. |

2 Advils/Ibuprofens and a tall glass of water before passing out.
If you still have a hangover when you wake up, the Alka Seltzer Morning Relief is the perfect hangover cure. |

You are the winner, I believe. One of my friends told me about this one just a few months ago. Tried it and it works. |

I heard its bad for your liver though. Ibuprofens and Alcohol can cause liver bleeding. Either way, its always worked for me. I take 2 advils before passing out and when I wake up in the morning, no headache whatsoever. It doesn't do anything for the chest pains from chain smoking all night, sinus pressure behind your eyes, or the weak stomach. The good thing is you don't have a killer headache. |

Thanks everybody for the responce. I was looking for a cure that I could find in Family Mart though. There are a lot of hangover cures, but I'm looking for the ingredients that will combat the following:
Dehydration (yeah, obvious)
Free Radical Build-up
Loss of salts/sugar
Methanol poisoning.
I'm looking for the ingredients listed under Berocca on the following web page:

If you are a the Family Mart, I've noticed they sell a few things that supposedly and specifically target hangovers. Looks like this:
Can anyone attest to the wonders of this concoction? |

I've had that drink before. It gave me a boost of energy immediately after drinking it and eased the symptoms somewhat. It's quite expensive and I'm trying to find cheaper ways of killing my hangover.
Can anybody translate the ingredients? |

It hasn't always worked... And yeah, it's pretty expensive at about 5000 won per can. It's worked the best when I drank it before going to bed. |

I love how most Korean products have some Korean guy's face on it. As if that automatically brings credibility to the product. I have some strawberry jam with some country ass looking Korean guy's face on it....tastes like a bag full of azzholes. |

i dare say you could find a lot of products back home with some white guy/gal's face on them. pretty silly comment, if you ask me.. anyway that hangover stuff is pretty useful- definitely drink one before you go to bed. if you can pay 50,000 or whatever to get drunk, you can definitely pay another 5,000 to have a nicer morning after. galbi-tang is also a good way to end an evening on the booze in korea, and usually helps me feel a bit better too.
also its a good idea to always have a big glass of water in front of you when you're doing shots of soju or whatever. |
