I was thinking about Sokcho for late July vacation. Do I need to book a hotel now or can I find something when I get there. I plan on half the time at the beach, half the time in the mountains. Is this a good idea?

Also, I've heard the mountains (I think in North Korea) are amazing. Anyone been there?
