I called 7 travel agencies today hoping to get a good deal on a late July trip to Hanoi, and the lowest quoted price was 700,000 won. I'm surprised that the high season would be the middle of the summer...anyone know of any cheaper tickets? |

Summer is indeed the high season there. That's when I went and hotels were often booked solid. We went in the second week of July and our airfare was 350,000 won each including tax.
I just took two minutes to search www.onlinetour.co.kr and I found end of July for 450,000 won excluding tax, so add probably 90,000 won. 540,000 including tax is a lot cheaper than 700,000. |

wow - thanks for doing that. I don't read Korean, but I may get my boss to book it for me. More than I wanted to spend, but I've already gotten myself excited about the trip. |
