is all this garbage in the media about him demanding a trade annoying to anyone else but me?... maybe its a laker fan thing, i'm sure it is...
this trade demand thing is insane when you consider they pretty much traded shaq, fired phil, then brough back phil... just to keep this guy happy... and all this after he goes and rapes some broad in colorado... which the team and especially the fans, stand by him throughout...
and this is how you reward those fans... not with a championship, but instead, a request to get the *%&* out of dodge... i can't wait for them to trade him... and i could care less who they get... just so long as the dirt bag is gone. |

I'm with you on that. I used to like Kobe, but now I just think he is a punk.
Yeah, you score 50 points a game, but we still lose. He has the princess sickness. Pass the ball, a$$. |

Well maybe instead of drafting prospects like Byrum they should have tried to build a team to win now around the best offensive player in the league. I'm not surprised he is pissed.

He wasn't convicted. You don't like him because he wants to leave a team with a terrible gm and no help(hint.thats why he scores 50 a night), doesn't mean hes a rapist.
Lets face it, he wasting the best years of his career whilst his GM drafts for 5 years time. This same gm didn't make trades because he didn't want to lose any prospects(who can't help right now). Kobe doesn't owe anything. He has always worked hard in LA and played hard. He wants out because he want to win and LA don't want to win right now, they want to build long term. Kobe is 28.
The bit I don't understand about this is, you think he is a rapist. but you hate him because he wants a trade. Thats pretty funny. |

He was pissing and whining so that management would make some moves to get help. Kobe couldn't come right out and say he needed help, could he? Nope.
They will be unstoppable when/if they get KG. |

Kobe passes the ball: He's selfish. He's playing passively. He's not dominant enough. He loses the game. (He loses the game because his good-for-nothing teammates couldn't make a shot.) Kobe's an ass.
Kobe doesn't pass the ball: He's selfish. He just wants to score points. He doesn't want to win as a team. Kobe's an ass.
Kobe doesn't want to be traded: He just wants to play the game and make a lot of money in L.A. He doesn't care if he wins. He's all about money. Kobe's an ass.
Kobe wants trade: What the heck is his problem?!?! Why does he want to leave the Lakers when they can get into the playoffs and get their behinds kicked by a seasonal team like the Suns? He has some great talent around him in Lamar Odom and Kwame Brown. Kobe's an ass.

For the record, I am NOT a Kobe or Lakers fan. Chicago Bulls are my team 4-life, and if anything, I'm a Kobe/Lebron hater.
Anyways, its easy to understand why he's complaining. Management told him they would build a championship team around him to convince him to stay. Now they say they are in a rebuilding phase. At this stage in his career, it makes no sense for him to stay if 'rebuilding' is the official position of the management. |

Kobe's a typical pro athlete in 2007. Many others have the same attitude, but he is more public about it.

i don't think he's a rapist, my comment was blatant, out of frustration. but i do think he got himself in some sh&* and the fans and management stood by the guy regardless... i don't hate him for wanting to be traded, i hate him for handling the situation the way he has... no bedside manner for the loyalty and love he recieved from his fans, despite whatever happened in colorado... that's all. |

Kobe has a viable center in Shaq and whines like a school girl that it's him or me. Shaq gets traded, Lakers don't make the playoffs the next year. Kobe's an ass. |

Alright fellas, Kobe never told the Lakers to get rid of Shaq. With all the recent Lakers drama Kobe finally spoke out about that situation.
"The real facts are that Dr. Buss requested a meeting with me during the '04 season long before I opted out of my contract," Bryant said on a blog post at his Web site, "and he told me he had already decided to not extend Shaq, as he was concerned about Shaq's age, fitness and contract demands. Dr. Buss thought it was best for the Lakers to make a trade to get value for Shaq while they could."
What did Shaq say in regards to Kobe speaking out about Shaq's departure for the first time?
"I believe Kobe 100 percent," O'Neal said, according to a report on the Philadelphia Inquirer's Web site. "Absolutely. There's no doubt in my mind Kobe is telling the truth. I believe him a thousand percent. I would have respected Dr. Buss more as a man if he would have told me that himself, because I know he said it. But he didn't (tell me). He never said a damn word to me."
