Dave is not a geek. Any self-respecting geek would have a much higher quality of website and update it once a millennium.

As far as I know Dave has spent a total of a couple of weekends in Korea.

Wasn't there a Dave's ESL gathering in Seoul several years ago that he made an appearance at?

Yeah, he did. At the YELLOW BAR in Shinchon. He was here for an ESL conference.

As far as I know, he lived in Thailand, married a Thai wife.. and they've been been living in Southern California for quite some time together now.

I have met him, at a conference at Myrtle Beach.
A nice guy.
But...is sensitive to the commercial aspect of this undertaking.
Never taught in Korea, but has visited here.

It was really, really nice to meet someone who has had such a great influence on my life. Very Happy

People need to know that about this site. It helps us, but it is not a gift the universe is giving to you. It is owned by a single individual, and the revenue it generates helps his children go to bed with full stomaches. Get mad about that if you want, or just sit back and think about whether you have ever been helped by info people have shared here ...

Unhappy? Start your own site. He had the idea first and figured out how to do it - that's why it's our first stop on the net - and it seems to be working out for a lot of people so far.

Retard? Shocked

I'm sorry. That's impolite. I should have asked :

Are you mentally challenged? There are many teachers here who can help you, if this is your problem. Stuff you've been saying lately, I'm sure a few of us are thinking you could use the help, all I'm saying.

All I know is that Dave must exist somewhere.
I got kicked out of Yahoo for subscribing to a mailing list which Yahoo considers dirty.
So I had to register again.
Dave wrote back with a new password.

That made me think that the time for the posts on this site is set to Los Angeles time.
But now I have an electronic dictionary which gives the time in Seoul and the time in Los Angeles.
And that time is different, too.
Does anyone know what time the posts are set to?
