Go to the post office.. buy a box.. bring it home.

Put your stuff in the box.. bring it back to the post office.. put some postage stamps on it.. decide to insure it or not.. and done.

Use the post office. Make sure you are using SURFACE mail and NOT airmail or EMS.

The rate for surface mail is 48k won for 20kg (44 lbs) going stateside.
Smaller weights have lower costs of course. 20kg is the max for any one box.

Buy a #5 box from the post office (or smaller if that is too big). #5 is the largest box you can use for post to the States.

Post office to door service. Insurance is available if you want it.

Great job ttompatz, as usual. Clear, concise information that directly answers the question asked by the OP.

Mom has already received packages mailed 3 weeks ago. Everything arrived in perfect condition.
