SuperAcidJax will be playing one of the coolest venues in ALL of Asia. The "Oi" club is looks like pristine white cave.. a psychadelic masterpiece of deisgn. The "Universe and I" party is on June 8, and it will be a blast! Past versions of the show have included some of the best DJs in Korea and a crowd of unusually dressed people to match.. The cover charge is 10,000 won.. well worth it. SuperAcidJax will be playing a massive three hour set from 2am-5am. The venue's in the Hongdae area of Seoul and the party will be blasting along until the sun comes up.. Bring me candy and perhaps I'll play a special song just for you..

I have a special invitation just for you..

Perhaps you'd like a little pseudo-intellectual discussion about the decline of class amongst rejects within the Seoul expat community?

Oi is an awesome venue. Really unique. But the downside is that you can't wear your shoes. You have to put them in a bag and put them somewhere.

That's awesome. Looking at those pictures, it seems like it would be a killer place, if only there were party favors..

I'll be playing mostly progressive house, but given the design and "vibe" of the venue, it will probably evolve into trance. Although prog. house and trance are so closely related nowadays..

If you like Gabriel and Dresden, Paul Van Dyk, Starkillers, Blake Jarrell, or Solarstone, then you'll LOVE the show..

Here are some pages to check out to get an idea of what I like to play, I also put some suggested songs that you can hear on their pages..

Blake Jarrell:
http://www.myspace.com/blakejarrell

suggested song: Chasing Cars

Dave Dresden:
http://www.myspace.com/davedresden

suggested song: Let Go or Read My Mind

Solarstone:
http://www.myspace.com/solarstone2006

suggested song: Seven Cities

Of course, my page:

www.myspace.com/superacidjaxmusic

suggested song: In the Dark

Of course, the set will depend on the crowd, but I hope I gave you a general idea of what to expect..

I hope to see you guys out there on the 8th..

Thanks for the links!

I'm sitting in my cubicle at my company jammin to Dresden and Jarrell right now. WOW! I wish I was ten years younger.

i spent new year's eve at oi club, and it is a supercool spot. really good vibe, lots of little cubby holes to hide away in, and a floor that will seriously mess you up if you're not careful!
good space.
rss Cool

Arrow right now i'm listening to: ween - booze me up and get me high
