hey guys,
i come seeking help for one of my good buddies here who was involved in a car accident with a taxi a couple weeks ago. quick summary, he was walking home with his girlfriend late night down one those narrow seoul alleys cab drivers love to motor through. they were well on the side of the road, the cab driver lost control, apparently brake failure, my friend got his leg shattered, he's been in the hospital since the incident. the cab company's insurance is covering hospital costs but he's trying to figure out the best course of action to seek damages when he gets out. the kicker is that apparently the cab involved in the accident had been recalled for a brake problem and was never brought it to get it fixed. if this happened in america, this would be an open and shut court case, but as a foreigner here, i gotta imagine getting a dime out of anyone will be a battle, but he's determined to try, and i can't blame him. so question is, what would be the best way to find a lawyer that could handle this kind of case? and what do you guys think of the feasibility of my friend getting a successful outcome in a korean court?
appreciate any input...

The guys at www.efl-law.com might be a good resource for you. They can at least point you in the right direction.
